Personnel Data Research’s business is providing timely and current up-to date criminal records on a wholesale basis to clients that need reports regarding an individual’s prior criminal record.
PDR is not a pre-employment screening company! We provide these records utilizing our nationwide network of records researchers, who access onsite records from courthouses throughout the continental United States.
When available, PDR under contract directly with the court’s will access records on-line and real-time via the Internet. This is only available in a limited number of jurisdictions and only on a contractual basis.

County Level Criminal History
Felony and misdemeanor records are checked at the
county seat location at courthouses throughout the United States. Current and up to the minute checks of county records, that can be used in making hiring decisions. The records obtained by Personnel Data Research are public records and are available to both individuals and companies.
PDR will not use any archived databases in the county level search process.
This methodology ensures that the records we provide to you are the most recent and up to date.
Records include felony and misdemeanor searches where available. These records will assist our clients in complying with the
Occupational Safety & Health Administrations
mandate requiring employers to make a reasonable effort to provide a safe workplace for both employees and the public.
Statewide Criminal Records
Felony and misdemeanor records are checked using state record databases. Many of these databases are archived and therefore are not always current. PDR cannot guarantee the accuracy of any statewide database search.
Special Note:
The Federal Trade Commission, which administers the
Fair Credit Reporting Act
has specifically addressed the use of archived databases for pre-employment screening purposes. If you use an archived database, and
find negative information, YOU MUST authenticate the accuracy of the information, before using the information for hiring purposes. These databases are not updated consistently. |
